Richard Coleman of St Saviour, Southwark, found guilty on an indictment for the murder of Sarah Green, widow, in the parish of St Mary Newington, by assaulting her on 24th July 1748 and wounding her so that she died on 19th September.  He was afterwards found to be innocent of the murder for which 2 others were hanged on 6 September 1751.
